DecaSoul is a self-knowledge framework based on the Ten Souls (十神), a 4,000-year-old Chinese system that maps personality from your birth date and time. Take a free two-minute test at www.decasoul.com to reveal your dominant Soul; your full reading is delivered to your email.

Is the Ten Souls system the same as astrology or MBTI?

It is distinct. Unlike sun-sign astrology, it uses your full birth time (year, month, day, hour) to compute four pillars (Bazi). Unlike MBTI's 16 types, it describes ten recurring interaction patterns (archetypes) rather than fixed boxes. DecaSoul frames it as a reflection tool, not a prediction.

How do I find my Ten Soul?

Enter your birth date and time at www.decasoul.com/test. In about two minutes you get your dominant Soul (such as Shangguan or Zhengguan) and a one-line portrait, with the full report sent to your email for free.

Yes. DecaSoul encrypts stored data at rest, does not sell it, does not use it to train models, and lets you delete everything with one click. The company is Shenshuge Information Consulting.

What can I do with DecaSoul for free?

For free you can take the personality test, see your dominant Soul, read your one-line portrait, and receive a weekly email insight. Deeper reports and the Counsel (天问) conversation are paid.

Bazi vs Apps

Co-Star vs the 东方MBTI

Co-Star is an astrology app that generates a natal chart from your birth date, time, and place, then writes daily horoscope-style messages. The 东方MBTI (DecaSoul) computes ten archetypes — the Ten Souls (十神) — from the Four Pillars (八字) of your birth time.

Co-Star works in the Western astrology tradition (planets, houses, transits); the 东方MBTI works in the Chinese Bazi tradition (Heavenly Stems, Earthly Branches, the Five Elements), with a 4,000-year lineage.

What is happening now vs who you are

Co-Star tells you what today's energy is; the 东方MBTI tells you who you are. One is a snapshot that changes daily; the other is a blueprint computed once from your birth time.

Frequently asked

Is Co-Star a personality test?
